Common HP printer and HP printer cartridges problems and troubleshooting

Hewlett Packard is an outstanding printer brand. All HP products such as HP printers and HP ink cartridges will surely deliver high quality services. But any printer regardless of what brand including HP can encounter some problems. Here are some of the common HP printer and HP printer cartridges problems and their corresponding troubleshooting.

The printer driver is not detected

This is one of the most common problems in HP printer. Most of the times, it’s not the HP printer that has the problem but the computer or device that you use. Most HP printer is plug-and-play and the detection of printer driver is automatic. But in some cases, the operating system (OS) of your computer does not recognize the printer. So make sure that your HP printer is compatible to your device and install the necessary driver for it to function well.

Printing Errors

Sometimes, no matter how many times you push that PRINT button, printing does not commence. You will just receive an ERROR message on your screen. There are several reasons why it happens. So before blaming HP, try to check the following: Check if the cables are rightly or snuggly connected; check if the HP printer cartridges are attached properly; make sure that the HP printer has its compatible HP ink.

Fade to Invisible Ink

When you print, the paper that comes out from the printer has faded prints or nearly invisible. Make sure that your HP inkjet cartridges still have enough ink to perform the printing process. If your HP printer cartridges are already low in ink or run dry, it’s time to buy new or remanufactured HP printer cartridges.
